(as of 9/17/10)
The first eight one-day Arlington Handicapping Challenge (AHC) contests offer a top prize of a trip to Las Vegas to play in the Coast Casinos Horse Player World Series (HWS). The prize package, worth about $2,200, includes an Arlington-paid entry into the HWS, a travel voucher, hotel, and prize money. Compete in the HWS and you could win the first prize estimated at $250,000! Start at noon with my free seminar handicapping the afternoon's contest races.
Saturday, October 2 : Lockport - Fat Sam's Bar & Grill
Saturday, October 9 : Hodgkins/LaGrange - Salerno-Pincente Italian Ristorante
Saturday, October 16 : Chicago - Mud Bug
Saturday, October 30 : Trackside @ Arlington Park
Saturday, November 13 : South Elgin - Silks & Sulkies Bar & Grill (New name, same location)
Saturday, November 20 : McHenry - Nicolino's Italian Restaurant
Saturday, November 27 : South Beloit - TADS Sports Bar & Grill
Saturday, December 4 : Waukegan - Sundance Saloon
Saturday, December 11 : Trackside @ Arlington Park (NOTE: The final December 11 contest is "for points only" and is a "last chance" contest to determine the winner of the Consistency Prize. A trip to the HWS in Las Vegas is not awarded to the top finisher on December 11 but IS awarded to the top finisher in the net cumulative standings for the fall, 2010, series. The usual weekly prize money WILL be awarded to the five five finishers on December 11. The noon handicapping seminar is preceded by a special orientation session at 11:30 AM for all winners of trips to Las Vegas for the HWS so you can learn what to expect at the HWS.)
For addresses, phone numbers, maps, and directions to each OTB go to arlingtonpark.com/trackside and proceed. Now you can even go there to review the menus for each facility and see their offerings, including contest-day specials!
For complete contest information, including contest rules and more, ask the staff at your local off-track wagering facility. OR, you can click here for rules. Still have questions? Send them to me at email@example.com.
Each week, on my blog, I post three contest-related stories: (1) The complete results from the previous Saturday's contest, (2) The latest cumulative standings, plus (3) A story, complete with interviews, of the previous Saturday's contest winners wherein they reveal how they won. The stories are interesting and informative, and may help you to win your way to Las Vegas! Go to arlingtonpark.com/blog/scottm.
We want to send you to Las Vegas but you must get in it to win it! You could be walking around lucky and not know it!!
