The centerpiece of the racing season is Saturday, August 8, when Arlington Park presents the International Festival of Racing featuring the 27th running of the Grade I Arlington Million at a mile and a quarter on the turf. Joining the Million on the International Festival card are the Grade I $750,000 Beverly D. Stakes for fillies & mares at a mile and three-sixteenth on the grass and the Grade I $400,000 Secretariat Stakes for 3-year-olds at a mile and a quarter on the lawn. In addtion there will be five overnight stakes, each worth $50,000.
