Be the first 1,200 in the park area for a free Arlington International Foam Cowboy Hat and then get ready to show what you've got on our mechanical bull! While you're enjoying a day in the country at Arlington Park, be on hand to watch the simulcast of the thrid leg of the Triple Crown - the Belmont Stakes. Don't forget to try the official drink of the Belmont Stakes the Belmont Breeze at select locations throughtout the facility.
Don't miss out on any of the excitement on the track as Illinois breds compete for the title of two Illinois bred stakes races. The Issac Murphy Handicap and the Addison Cammack Handicap - both six furlongs on the main track.
Arlington Park will be offereing a series of live money handicapping contests during 2013. Each contest in the series will offer as its top prize a trip to Las Vegas to participate in a national handicapping tournament during the winter of 2014. Each contest in May - August will offer an expense-paid berth in the Horse Players World Series (or a cash prize of $1,500 if the winner should choose not to go to Las Vegas). The two-day Sept. tournament will offer as its top prize an expense-paid berth in the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC). Prior to each contest, handicapper M. Scott McMannis will host a one-hour seminar on tournament basics as well as covering selected races from the day's live racing card.
