Today's Arlington's Handicapping Seminar Series event features the Daily Herald's Joe Kristufek. Each seminar will breakdown a selection of the day's races, provide some basic handicapping education, and reveal some wagering strategies. Thoroughbred racing is a sport that can be enjoyed on many levels. Learn to win, and when you are playing the races, remember, with knowledge comes horse-power!

January at a Glance

Trackside OTB remains open day and night throughout January, bringing you the best in local racing, both Thoroughbred (Hawthorne through Jan. 11) and harness (Maywood and Balmoral Jan. 1-4 and Jan. 28-31) as well as the top national signals for both breeds including Fair Grounds, Santa Anita, Gulfstream, Turfway and Aqueduct on the Thoroughbred side plus The Meadowlands and Woodbine on the harness side.

Starting Jan. 12 when Arlington Park takes over as daytime simulcast host, there will be no surcharge on winnig wagers placed at Trackside Arlington Park.
