Gates open at 11:15 a.m. and the first 7,500 ladies will receive a rose as they enter the track.
Mother's Day is also a Pepsi Family Day with events for the entire family. Sunday's theme is "Get Excited About Science." - Getting excited about science engages the audience with the recycling of everyday maters we take for granted. Using humor, music and audience participation, basic scientific principles are investigated.
Mother's Day is also an opportunity for the kids to participate in the Junior Jockey Club where JJC members can make Mom a special picture frame that she can keep forever! All the supplies you need will be provided by the Junior Jockey Club in the Paddock area from Noon until 4 p.m.
