Join Arlington Park for a fun filled July 3rd with a full day of Thoroughbred racing and a fireworks extravaganza that night.
 New this year! -- Live racing will begin later in the day (4:00 p.m.) followed shortly thereafter by lighting up the Northwest Suburb's skies with an Independence Day Fireworks Celebration.  The box office to purchase fireworks tickets will close at 7:30 p.m. Fans may purchase tickets separately for $5 at the door or $3 in advance online.

Kids 17 and under are free for general admission, but a ticket is required for a reserved seat. Online Ticket sales end at 6:00pm CT for racing on 7/3/2009.

In addition to racing and fireworks, park goers can enjoy an evening of live classic rock from Four Man Band throughout the races and a special performance by B.O.T.T. in the Winner's Circle at approximately 8:30 p.m. - just prior to the fireworks display.

Arlington Park will open its gates for simulcast racing at 11:15 a.m., with live racing beginning at 4:00 p.m. General admission for live racing (including fireworks) is $5; however, tickets can be purchased in advance at www.arlingtonpark.com for $3. The box office will close at 7:30 p.m. to purchase tickets for the fireworks display. Pre-purchased tickets will still be taken after 7:30 p.m.  Tickets for just the fireworks show itself will be $5 at the box office or $3 if purchased in advance online.
