Every Thursday during the 2009 Arlington Park season is Senior Day. For adults 55 and older, admission is just $3 every Thursday. Arlington Park also offers free parking for guests, making the track a very affordable day out.
Senior Spires Club
The Seniors Spires Club is a program that exists within the Twin Spires Club for members who are 55+. Senior Spires members will receive a 10% discount in the Arlington Park gift shop and will be able to participate in special promotions. To join, stop by the Twin Spires Club on the second floor across from the Starting Gate Theater. Seniors also receive 250 TSC points each Senior Day when they check-in at the Twin Spires Club Center.
Free Metra Rides for Seniors
Free public transportation for adults 65 and older began March 17 in the Chicago area. Arlington Park is one of the few venues in Chicago with a Metra stop on its property meaning seniors can ride free to racetrack. The Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line to and from Chicago stops frequent (visit metrarail.com for full schedule details) at Arlington Park.
