Jesse Campbell

Jesse Campbell (born October 9, 1977 in Twinsberg, Ohio) is the son of trainer Mike Campbell, and he began riding while he was a senior at Lake Zurich High School. He won his first career race at Arlington on July 20, 1995 aboard Apostle Island, a horse trained by his father and bred by his grandfather.

He earned his first stakes victory in the Sugar N Spice Handicap at Hoosier on November 18, 1997, and also won the Cornhusker at Prairie Meadows in 1998 and the Hanshin Handicap with Bright Valour in 2000.

Campbell won the biggest race of his career recently on July 7, 2013 when he piloted Midnight Aria to a victory in the $1,000,000 Queens Plate at Woodbine.
