Priscilla Vaccarezza

Mrs. Vaccarra is married to Little MIke's breeder Carlo Vaccarezza, a Florida-based restaurateur who is from Genoa, Italy.  Mr. Vaccarezza has been involved in horse racing for 35 years and has a handful of horses in training with Dale Romans

Mr. Vaccarezza Carlo was born Genoa, Italy on Nov. 8, 1951; Mrs. Vaccarezza was born Aug. 25, 1964. They reisde in Parkland, Fla. The couple had previously resided in Naperville, Ill., before moving to Florida a decade ago. The Vaccarezzas have raced a handful of successful horses over the years, including stakes winners Little Nick (Little Mike’s half brother) and the filly My Due Process. Mr. Vaccarezza has been involved in Thoroughbred racing for more than 35 years. He had a brief stint as a hotwalker at Aqueduct in the late 1960s and bought his first race horse in the early 1970s.  The Vaccarezzas previously operated Break of Dawn Farm near Ocala, which in the mid 1990s was one of the only training centers in the area with a swimming pool. Vaccarezza, whose major customers included the late George Steinbrenner, has since sold the facility. Mr. Vaccarezza is a Florida-based restaurateur who currently owns two restaurants – Damiano Restaurant in Boca Raton, Fla., and Frank and Dino’s in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Vaccarezza’s previous restaurant establishments included Rusty’s (co-owned with baseball great Rusty Staub) in New York City and Mickey’s (co-owned with actor Mickey Rourke) in Miami.
