Starter Analysis
Son of good grass sire Stormy Atlantic is out of a Grade Three winner who has produced one stakes winner and was last seen when narrowly defeated by Cozzetti in the American Derby here in July after dictating relatively easy fractions. Dark bay was fifth, beaten nearly five lengths, behind Silver Max in the Arlington Classic three starts back and with that one entered is unlikely to be on the lead early today and will most likely try to find a position just off the early leaders. Colt has posted two solid works since his last start but barn of Greg Geier has struggled this meet winning with just two of thirty eight starters and runner, who will be ridden by Rosemary Homeister, appears up against it here.
