Wayne Catalano


Wayne Catalano was born July 24, 1956 in New Orelans, La.  Wayne won 1,792 races as a jockey before chronic knee problems forced him to hang up his tack. Was the nation's secondleading rider in 1977. Served as an assistant under Hall-of-Fame conditioner Jack Van Berg for a time and began training on his own in 1983, recording his first victory that same year with Dreamin' Of You at Arlington.

Florent Geroux


Florent, born in France in 1986, is the son of Dominique Geroux, who rode with success in France during the 70s and 80s before hanging up his tack to become a trainer. Although he spent time at the track as a youth, it wasn't until he was a teenager that he decided he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. He applied to the French riding academy, Afasec, and he was accepted at the age of 13 and attended the school for several years.

They had a total of 54 in training in Oct. 2012 with trainers Bob Baffert, Chad Brown, Bret Calhoun Mark Casse, Wayne Catalano and Ron Ellis. ...
