Starter Analysis
Son of top turf sire Dynaformer is out of Ioya Two who was a Grade Three winner on this course and who has already produced solid Grade Three turf winner Amazing Results. Ioya Bigtime had been in poor form since closing well to finish second to leading older horse Wise Dan in last fall’s Fayette Stakes at Keeneland until springing an upset in the Stars And Stripes on this course in July over a mile and a half in his most recent start. Five-year-old now has a record of 7-2-0-3 on the Arlington main track for trainer Chris Block who wins with 17% of his runners in stakes races and who has won with 20% of his starters this meet and bay can be dangerous running from just off the pace over a distance that will suit him with Jeffrey Sanchez retaining the mount.
