Aiden O'Brien was born 16 October 1969 in County Wexford, Ireland. Since 1996, he has been the private trainer at Ballydoyle Stables near Cashel in County Tipperary for John Magnier and his Coolmore Stud associates. O'Brien first started working professionally with horses at P.J. Finn's racing stables at the Curragh, Co. Kildare, and then with Jim Bolger at Coolcullen, Co. Carlow.
Born November 13, 1980 in Ireland, Colm O’Donoghue has been a stable jockey at Aidan O’Brien’s Ballydoyle stables for about a dozen years. Although never the first jockey to the stable, he has been a key member of the tem during that time and in his career to date has ridden close to 300 winners.
Derrick Smith was born in London, England and resides in Barbados. He is part-owner of Sandy Lane Hotel with John Magnier, Michael Tabor and J.P. McManus. He first gained prominence as a co-owner with Michael Tabor in such horses as Lion Heart, Pomeroy, Sense of Style and third-place 2003 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Chapel Royal.

Irish invader finished last of four behind I’m A Dreamer in the Pretty Polly Stakes two starts back and was again slightly disappointing when third in a Grade Three at the Curragh over nine furlongs in her latest. Daughter of top European sire Galileo, who finished a good fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf last November, has not been showing the form that saw her finish third in the English One Thousand Guineas and second in the Irish equivalent this spring for trainer Aidan O’Brien who stable is having a banner year in Europe. Three-year-old can be making late progress with Colm O’Donoghue in the irons.
