Starter Analysis
Four-year-old threw in a clunker when eased in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket in her last latest in mid-July when not suited by the very soft ground but was seen at her best when winning the one mile straight Windsor Forest Stakes two back at Royal Ascot when defeating subsequent Group Two winner Chachamaidee. Filly is by leading European sire Cape Cross, who is responsible for the likes of exceptional runners Ouija Board and Sea The Stars, and is a half sister to Group Two winner Bonfire from the stable of John Gosden who is enjoying a successful year in Europe and who saddled Debussy to win the Arlington Million in 2010. Filly, who handled this distance when winning the Musidora Stakes last year at York, is markedly better on firmer footing having a record of 5-2-2-0 on turf courses rated good and of 3-0-0-0 on ones good to soft or worse, and with some speed can be in good position throughout with regular rider William Buick aboard.
