Starter Analysis
Chestnut is by leading turf sire Kitten’s Joy and comes off a narrow win in a restricted stakes here a week ago for barn of Chris Block. Four-year-old finished well to be third behind stablemate Ioya Bigtime two starts back in the Stars And Stripes over a mile and a half when just failing to catch $1.1 Million earner and ten furlong specialist, Musketier and deep closer, who finished second in the American Derby here last year, should be suited by this longer trip. Suntracer now has a record of 8-1-3-1 on the Arlington turf course for trainer Block who wins with 17% of his runners in stakes races and can be trying to mount a late charge from far off the pace with Eddie Perez aboard.
