Mare has a record of 10-3-2-2 on grass and was last seen when third in the Modesty Handicap last month when more or less maintaining that position throughout. Bay finished fifth at long odds in this event last year and while consistent she appears just a touch below the Grade One level but is trained by Mike Stidham who wins with 20% of his starters in stakes races and who has won with 27% of his starters at this meet. Five-year-old can be stalking the pace with James Graham retaining the mount and could garner a piece with her best effort.
