Ramsey Zimmerman started his career in 1996 when he was just sixteen years old. He won his first graded stakes race by the time he was seventeen; he got his driver's license after he got his jockey's license. He most recently finished 5th in the jockey standings at the Fair Grounds meet. He attributes his success on the track to his work ethic and finds his mother to be his hero.
