Arlington Park Celebrates Chicago Area Moms on Mother's Day

Mother's Day at Arlington Park has become a family tradition. This year the park will celebrate Chicago area mothers with several special Mother's Day activities on Sunday, May 10, 2009. Make sure to get your tickets early at www.arlingtonpark.com as tickets go on sale April 1 - General Admission for Mother's Day is $10 at the gate and $7 if purchased in advance online. The first 7,500 ladies through the doors will receive a rose. Families can show their appreciation for Mom this year with a day filled with the excitement of Thoroughbred racing, beautiful surroundings, fun activities and great food.
Arlington Park will also offer several packages that are sure to be an extraordinary experience for everyone. Packages include:
Mother's Day Brunch in the Million Room - Back by popular demand is the Million Room brunch that offers guests a choice of first class food and a great view of horseracing. The buffet is $38 per person and $20 per child.
Mother's Day in the Governor's Room or the International Room - Includes admission to Arlington Park, a Daily Racing Guide, a shared buffet and four-hour Classic Bar, a seat in the Governor's Room or International Room plus horseracing for $60 per person and $25 per child.
Terrace Cafe - Have Mother's Day lunch your way by reserving a table for four in the Terrace Café for $50 and ordering straight from the menu (more traditional lunch offering).
There will also be some great family friendly activities throughout the day including pony rides, a petting zoo and the opportunity for kids to make their mom a special Mother's Day craft.
