The sky will be illuminated by Chicagoland’s biggest Fourth of July fireworks display as part of Arlington’s annual Independence Day celebration of Racing, Music and Fireworks featuring live music and entertainment all day and into the night. The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a Fourth of July accessory and the first 1,000 children will get a free firecracker popsicle. FireZone First Responders Day featuring the Gary Sinise Foundation is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 3 when Arlington pays tribute to local service men and women and help support the 9/11 Remembrance Rescue Project.
