Horseplayerpro.com to conduct live pre-“Million Day” chat Friday Aug. 7
On Friday, August 7 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (CDT), a free "live chat" dedicated to Arlington Park's "Million Day" will be conducted at horseplayerpro.com.
Hosted by Joe Kristufek, Tim Turrell and Brian Spencer, the chat will cover all three grade one stakes races to be run at Arlington on Saturday, August 8: the Arlington Million, the Beverly D. and the Secretariat.
In order to participate, fans need only to visit horseplayerpro.com, click on the front door to the chat, and create a temporary ID. Fans are encouraged to submit their questions as early as noon CDT on Friday, August 7, and to join into the live chat forum beginning at 7:30 p.m.
A self-proclaimed horse racing ambassador, Kristufek has been the Daily Herald handicapper for nine years. He also covers the Chicago circuit and Oaklawn Park for Horseplayer PRO and serves as the morning-line maker for Arlington Park.
Turrell is a third-generation member of a family devoted to horse racing and handicapping. In town serving as a lead producer for ESPN's Million Day telecast, Turrell will be right on top of the Festival contenders all week long.
Spencer covers Churchill Downs and Fair Grounds for Horseplayer PRO, and provides daily commentary for Arlington Park's Daily Racing Guide. His Million week blog can be found at arlingtonparklive.com.
Horseplayer PRO's previous Triple Crown and Million Preview Day chats were very well received, and additional chats are planned for the November 6 & 7 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, held this year at Santa Anita.
Horseplayer PRO is co-owned and managed by lifelong racing enthusiasts who share more worlds of combined experience working on the inside of the racing industry. Partners Jeremy Plonk, Tim Turrell and Joe Kristufek and contributors Terry Turrell, Peter Rotondo Sr., Rowland Hoyt and Brian Spencer bring an array of insight with the approach of the horseplayer first. After all, that's how they all started in the business and it's what continues to drive them today.
Horseplayerpro.com is an official handicapping content provider to ESPN.com, the world's largest sports website, the Breeders' Cup, and the American Quarter Horse Association, as their analysts covering the largest race meetings from coast to coast.
