WGN and WGN America to Broadcast Arlington Million
One of Chicago's great entertainment and sports events of the year will be broadcast to Chicagoland and nationwide thanks to a partnership between Arlington Park and WGN Television.
The 29th running of the Arlington Million will be carried live in HD on WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago and nationwide on WGN America on Aug. 13, 2011 from 5:00-5:30 p.m. CDT. The program will be rebroadcast locally on CLTV from 8:00-8:30 p.m. CDT.
The broadcast will be hosted by WGN's Dan Roan, and longtime Chicago sportscaster Arlington Park's Howard Sudberry. The inclusion of WGN America will make this show available in more than 27 million households worldwide.

The Arlington Million, along with the Secretariat Stakes and the Beverly D. Stakes are the three Grade I races to be run at Arlington Park on August 13 as part of the track's International Festival of Racing.
