"Wins and Whacks": With two episodes to go, Tim takes the Illinois-bred champion River Bear to Fairmount Park to compete in their Tex's Zing Stakes. Then head back to Arlington as Free Fighter turns the tables on Exchanging Kisses. Aboard Quiet Determination, an incident causes Tim to call foul, and the excitement continues with one of the most dramatic images captured so far on the helmet cam.

"A Good Week": Episode 18 is all about the turf, and it served Tim well. Join the ride as Tim squeezes thru some tight spots and glides through the grass right to the Winner's Circle...three times. Then, Tim takes on the G3 Pucker Up Stakes on Treasured Up.

"Anatomy of a Race": In episode 17, Tim breaks down a winning race, taking you through his decision making process. He evaluates the turf, assesses the competion, and finally takes you step-by-step through the race itself. Follow along as Tim explains in detail why he made the decisions and moves he made, and how it all came together to land Tim and Wicklow into the Winner's Circle.
"Expect the Unexpected": Each time a jockey shows up for the day's races, he or she never knows what that day may bring. Tim Thornton knows well that really anything can happen. An unexpected horse may step up and win, a longshot may outrun his odds, and as always, the starting gate can prove to be one of the most unpredictable places on the racetrack.

First Tim takes you through the races of two recently claimed horses. After that, get more intimate with the Helmet Cam as Tim explains how his view and the broadcast view can greatly differ.

"Bumps and Bolts": Some days are just eventful days. Sunday, August 19th 2012, looked promising for Tim as he went into the day's races with a chance to win on five horses. The day takes an interesting turn as a couple horses bolt and a couple more cause inquiries.

"Pills, Paddock & Peyote": In this weeks episode, Tim introduces us to another aspect of the racing game - The Jockey Agent. Find out more about what goes into getting the races set up, and why a Jockey needs an agent. Also, Seattle Train acts up in the paddock and Tim's favorite horse, Peyote Patty, runs in the Illinois Owner's Stake - a race she won in 2009.

Episode 9: "Blue" - In this episode, "blue" is the theme - starting with Tim's dog, Jake, a Blue Heeler. After spending some time with Jake, we learn the story behind Tim's blue boots, and take a tour of the Arlington Park jock's room. Tim then introduces us to Blue Knott, Arlington Park's Starter, and we find out more about how the starting gate and the gate crew operate.

"Pace Makes the Race": In episode 8, travel with Tim to Canterbury as he rides the favorite in a Stake and hangs with his best bud, jockey Tanner Riggs. Afterwards, 8 year old Luke Johnston joins up with Tim for a visit to the Jock's Room.

He also takes us through a recent scary moment aboard the Louie Roussel III trained Triple Check, that results in a trip to the stewards office. The “Triple Check Incident” causes Tim to reflect back on a similar, but even more dramatic experience aboard Strategic Sun in 2006.
