Tom Kudla

Tom Kudla is a Chicago based handicapper with extensive experience with multi-race and intra-race exotic wagering. As well as being a lifelong fan, Tom has been actively involved in the Illinois racing industry for the past 3 years.

In 2010, he began work on an award winning Eagle Project in the backstretch of Arlington Park. The project, which was completed in 2011, created a learning center that continues to benefit the over 500 children that live in the backstretch.

During that year, he began to work for three-time Breeders’ Cup winning trainer Wayne Catalano, where he personally worked with Grade I winning thoroughbreds. While working for Mr. Catalano, Tom founded TCK Chemical and developed Polygone, the company’s first product and the world’s first shampoo designed to clean synthetic dirt off of horses. The first gallon of Polygone was sold in July of 2012, and since then, over 300 gallons have been sold to trainers at Arlington Park. Tom currently plans on attending the University of Kentucky in the fall of 2013 to study Equine Science and Management.
