Arlington Park and the Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Foundation (ITBOF) is proud and excited to introduce our first ever "Name the Foal" contest! Anyone interested will have the novel opportunity to submit names for a 3 month old Filly and a 3 month old Colt. The most creative two names, (one for each foal), will be picked by the ITBOF and given to these newborn thoroughbreds! Imagine the excitement of watching a horse with your chosen name grow up and become a real, live, race horse! This is a very unique opportunity for all kinds of horse racing fans in a wide range of ages.
The winner of the contest will receive not only the excitement of having picked the name of a thoroughbred race horse, but also the Registration Certificate with his or her name along with the foal's new name and parentage. The winner of the contest will be notified by mail in August and will be treated to a day at the races by The Illinois Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Foundation and by Arlington Park! Good luck to all participants, and let the naming begin!!!
