2010 Handicapping Seminar Series
During 2010 Arlington Park will offer an expanded Handicapping Seminar Series featuring nationally prominent racing analysts such as the Daily Herald's Joe Kristufek and the Chicago Sun-Times' M. Scott McMannis. Each seminar will break down a selection of the day's races, provide some basic handicapping education, and reveal some wagering strategies. All Thoroughbred handicapping contests will be preceded by a handicapping seminar presented by M. Scott McMannis.
Trackside OTB Live-Money Contests
Arlington's Trackside OTB parlors are proud to offer customers a variety of live-money handicapping contests throughout the year. All contests are free to enter and offer exciting prizes starting with trips to Las Vegas to compete in the Coast Casinos Horseplayer World Series (HWS) handicapping tournament to be held at The Orleans, February 17-19, 2011. The HWS offers a top prize estimated at $250,000.00.

Daily Racing Form/NTRA Qualifier Handicapping Contest
Arlington Park will once again offer handicappers nationwide an opportunity to qualify for the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) to be held in Las Vegas at the Red Rock Casino on January 28-29, 2011. The NHC offers a top prize estimated to be $500,000.00.
In 2010, Arlington Park's contest will feature no entry fee and a live-money format where your contest account balance remains yours at all times.
The Qualifier will be held on July 17 and 18, 2010, at Arlington Park. That weekend was chosen since it is Million Preview Weekend and features prep races for Arlington's premier Grade I stake races to be held on Million Weekend (August 21, 2010).
