Harness Handicapping Live Money Contest

TRACKSIDE OFF TRACK BETTING HARNESS HANDICAPPING CONTEST SERIES SATURDAYS MAY 21 & 28; JUNE 4; JULY 9, 16, 23 & 30

Arlington Park will offer live money handicapping contests on three Saturdays in May and June and four Saturdays in July at all Illinois Trackside Off Track Betting locations with a weekly top prize of $500.

All players need to do to participate is purchase a $50 contest wagering card at the Twin Spires Club Center at each location on day of each contest and play a minimum of five races from that night’s card at Balmoral Park.

Each contest will be organic to a typical day at the track, meaning that players will have the flexibility to wager in more pools (Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, and multi-race wagers such as the Pick 3 and Pick 4) than in most other contests and have freedom to participate from any location within any Illinois Trackside Off Track Betting facility as there is no need for assigned contest wagering windows. However, all wagers must be made using the contest card at self service terminals only. Contestants may invest winnings from contest races into future contest wagers. In a new twist for 2011 to allow more people to participate in the contest series, each contest will be held simultaneously at all of Arlington Park’s 11 Trackside Off-Track Betting facilities. The weekly winner overall will receive a monetary prize of $500.  The top five players each week will earn cash prizes.
