Trackside OTB Handicapping Contest Series

Test your handicapping skills in this $50 live-money contest in which the winner from each week earns a berth into the Coast Casinos Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas in 2011 (expenses included). Professional handicapper M. Scott McMannis will host a handicapping seminar prior to each contest and will be on hand all afternoon to provide handicapping updates and answer any questions during the contests.

All you need to do to participate is exchange $50 for a contest wagering card (essentially a plastic voucher) at the contest registration table at the designated location on the day of each contest. Then play a minimum of $50 on a minimum of five races from that day’s card from Hawthorne Race Course. Important: The balance on your contest wagering account card always remains yours!

Players will compete for nine berths in Coast Casino's Horseplayer World Series to be held February 17-19, 2011, at The Orleans in Las Vegas. The winners of the first eight contests will earn a berth. An additional “wild-card” berth, known as The Consistency Prize, will be awarded to the person with the best cumulative score over the contest series who did not win an individual free-standing contest in the series.
