Dining Options at the Track
Arlington Park offers a wide range of food and beverage options. Click here to learn more.

Carry-In Policy
Safety is our primary concern and explains the reasons behind our policies. For example, we do not allow
balloons because if they get loose and blow onto the track during a race it could be catastrophic. All coolers and bags that are carried into the facility will be inspected at the entrance gate.

Coolers will be allowed every day in both the Park Area and outside on the Apron level -- track side only. No
coolers will be allowed inside the building. There is a limit of one 50-quart cooler per adult, including in the Park Pavilion.

Additional permitted items must be able to be "carried in."

Prohibited items include:

  • Glass Containers
  • Alcohol
  • Commercially packaged foods
  • Liquids and non-alcoholic beverages will be allowed only in their original sealed plastic container.
  • Additional Prohibited items: Poles or sticks of any size, balls, Frisbees or any projectile objects, tents, canopies, picnic or beach umbrellas, balloons, skateboards, scooters, and noise makers of any type.

Acceptable items include:
Small coolers containing unopened plastic bottled non-alcoholic beverages and individually wrapped food items. These coolers are only permitted in the picnic area to the east of the building or on the apron level outside the building. Coolers with outside food or beverages will not be permitted to be consumed inside our building or in our reserved seating areas.

Smoking Policy
In compliance with the Smoke-Free Illinois Act 95-0017, effective January 1, 2008, smoking is prohibited indoors, including tented areas, balconies and all seating areas underneath the cantilever roof. Smoking is permitted outdoors, 15 feet from entrances in areas not referenced above.
