Health/Safety Guidelines

As you prepare for your visit, please know that we have made changes based on CDC guidance and appropriate government agencies.

Fully vaccinated Guests and Team Members are no longer required to wear masks in our facility at Arlington International Racecourse and Arlington OTB’s.

The CDC announced that individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer need to wear masks, and the state of Illinois is also following this guideline.  The CDC considers you fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after your second dose in a two (2) dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two (2) weeks after a single dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.

We are requesting that unvaccinated Team Members and Guests continue to wear a mask. Like many businesses, we are trusting the public and our Team Members to adhere appropriately.

Coolers or Carry-Ins containing outside food and beverages are NOT permitted. Any prohibited items that are brought to the facility must be returned to the guest’s car/home or discarded before entry into the facility will be permitted.

For the health and safety of our guests and staff wheelchair service and wheelchair rentals will not be offered in 2021. Handicap parking spaces will be designated for guests with vehicles that display proper credentials. Guests can also be dropped off near the Clubhouse Entrance for easy access to the facility. Valet Parking will also not be offered in 2021 however Premium Parking located at the Clubhouse Entrance can be purchased online in advance of your visit.

Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the facility and guests are encouraged to wash their hands frequently.

For the safety of others please do not visit Arlington if you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the past 14 days.

By visiting Arlington, you voluntarily agree to assume full liability for any risks incurred before, during, or after the event and release, discharge and waive against Arlington International Racecourse, LLC and its parent, Churchill Downs, Inc. any and all claims for losses, injuries, death of or damages to persons or property.
