Arli Goes Back to School

On our final Family Day Presented by Pepsi and Daily Herald of the season, Arlington’s official mascot, wishes children a happy new school year and heads back to school himself! 

  • Donate :  Donate school supplies for kids in need and receive free General Admission at the gates.  School supply donations will benefit the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation’s Annual Back to School Supply Drive.  School supplies must have an approximate value of at least $8 for fans to receive free general admission.  Free General Admission offered at the discretion of Arlington box office and only available for redemption on August 31.  Acceptable supplies include the following:
  • Pack of pencils
  • Ruler
  • Pack of paper
  • Box of crayons
  • Highlighter
  • 3-ring 1 inch binder
  • Notebooks
  • Glue stick
  • Pack Post-it notes
  • Folders
  • Pack of pens
  • Pair of scissors
  • Pack of colored pencils
  • Pack of markers
  • Kleenex
  • Paint sets
  • Index cards
  • Scotch tape
  • Dictionary
  • Planner/calendar
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Bar soap
  • Stapler
  • Calculator

  • Interact: Kids tell Arli their favorite part of summer through art and the winner receives a back to school Arlington Prize Pack.  Send @Arlington_Park on Twitter pictures of your kids going back to school to have their picture featured on the infield Jumbotron!  Send Arli off with a nice farewell from the Winner’s Circle after the 5th race.

    Family Day Presented by Pepsi and Daily Herald are back and better than ever with the addition of even MORE entertainment in the Junior Jockey Zone including pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, magician, caricaturist, juggler, bounce house and hands on activities  from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. We’ve partnered up with Chicagoland’s favorites in entertainment for exciting and educational content each Sunday — Memorial Day through Labor Day.

    This Sunday, Museum of Science and Industry, Santa's Village Azoosment Park (Featuring Exotic Animal Show) & Mane In Heaven will be out in the park area for Family Day fun!
