2021 CARRY IN POLICY
Coolers or Carry-Ins containing outside food and beverages are NOT permitted. All items brought through Admission Gates are subject to inspection. Please note that gifts are also subject to inspection and must adhere to the Carry-In Policy. To expedite entrance into the facility, guests are encouraged to arrive at the gates early and have your bags ready for inspection.
***PARK LAWN CLOSING DAY***
Guests with park lawn tickets on closing day will be allowed to enter the facility with bag chairs, folding chairs, and blankets to use as seating. ONLY guests with this ticket will be permitted to enter with portable seating. Collapsible tables and canopies are not permitted. All other carry-in policies apply.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
For the safety of all guests, employees, and horses, the following items are prohibited. Any items on this list that are brought to the facility must be returned to the guest’s car/home or discarded before entry into the facility will be permitted:
All outside food including store bought, homemade, or commercially packaged.(i.e. chain or fast food restaurant products)
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Unsealed containers (including thermoses) carrying ANY liquid
Glass containers
Projectile objects, including balls, Frisbees, etc.
Grills, slow cookers or any open flame device (including candles & Sterno burners)
Balloons (any size, helium or standard)
Tents, canopies and oversized umbrellas larger than 5’ in diameter
Bicycles (bike racks are located outside of each entrance gate), scooters, skateboards, in-line skates, hover boards and ANY motorized means of transport (other than motorized wheelchairs)
Poles, flags, banners, signs, selfie sticks and any other item that could be an obstruction or potential danger to other guests or on-track activity
Drones, kites, bubbles
Noisemakers, including air horns, bullhorns, fireworks, etc.
Objects that could be a danger to on-track activity and other guests, including laser pointers, squirt guns, Nerf guns, etc.
Folding chairs and tables
Firearms, knives, sharp objects or other weapons restricted by local, state or federal laws.
Pets, undocumented support animals (Service Animals permitted under the ADA)

Purses, diaper bags that accompany guests with young children, backpacks, messenger bags, etc.
Blankets
Strollers, wagons and baby carriages
Cellular telephones, tablets, cameras & camcorders (non-professional), binoculars and laptops
Service animals trained to perform specific tasks as defined by the ADA
PLEASE NOTE:
This list is not all-inclusive. Arlington reserves the right in its sole discretion to make decisions and refuse permission/entry.
