Beginning Thursday, September 3, Arlington is able to host limited spectators on-site.  Despite this, it does not change the “essential” designation of a trainer as under the Department of Agriculture’s COVID-19 protocols that were approved by the Governor’s office, that dictates access to the Paddock and Winner’s Circle for their race only (one trainer and one groom per horse). Horsemen and women do not fall under the limited spectator plan for outdoor table seating unless a reserved seat ticket is purchased on-line.
