Arlington International Racecourse announces the addition of Gabby Gaudet to the track’s 2014 broadcast team as racing analyst.

For the last year, Gaudet has served as racing analyst for Laurel Park as well as for Pimlico Race Course where she was part of the broadcast team for the second jewel of Thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown - the Preakness Stakes.

In addition, she has also covered the Arlington Million and other major races for HRTV and spent a summer as a staff writer at Saratoga Race Course.

“I am very excited and honored to become a new addition to the Arlington team,” said Ms. Gaudet. “It is an excellent meet from top to bottom and I’m happy to be a part of it for the upcoming summer months.”

“We are excited to have someone with such a strong racing background join our broadcast team,” said Arlington Senior Director of Marketing and Communications Howard Sudberry. “Her horse racing knowledge and communication skills will provide insight into our races that our customers will find interesting and helpful.”

Gaudet comes from a racing family as her father, mother and sister are all trainers. She will make her Arlington debut to coincide with the start of the 2014 Arlington race meet on Friday, May 2.  After opening weekend (May 2-4) she will return to Maryland through the Preakness, and again for Laurel Park’s fall meet.
