UPDATE FROM ARLINGTON: FAQs (MAY)

Q: When will racing and events begin at Arlington?
A: In support of, and with respect to the Governor’s re-opening plan for businesses that may encourage mass gatherings, and in the interest of public safety, Arlington International Racecourse has made the decision to suspend the opening of its race meet, which will extend beyond our next two premium events. Arlington will be issuing full refunds for all pre-purchased tickets to these events. All further updates will be provided to our loyal patrons and fans via www.arlingtonpark.com and social media platforms.

Q: I purchased tickets for Derby Day May 2nd, what happens now?
A: Tickets purchased for Derby Day May 2nd are valid for Derby Day 2020 rescheduled for September 5th.  If you purchased tickets for the Kentucky Derby Day, May 2nd, and require a refund please click here.

Q: Will Arlington be open for Kentucky Derby Day, September 5?
A: In support of, and with respect to the Governor’s five phase re-opening plan for businesses, it is uncertain as to Arlington’s ability to host the largest Kentucky Derby Party in Illinois under mass gathering protocols and conditions. We hope to understand how the reopening guidelines will allow us to host the event in September soon.

Q: I purchased tickets for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Fireworks Night – now what?
A: Those with tickets pre-purchased for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Fireworks Night will receive a full refund automatically within 10-15 business days, no further action is required.

Q: I have group event booked in June or July, what do I need to do?
A: If you have a Group Event booked in June or July we plan to move those race days into dates in August and September. You will be able to reschedule your event for one of those race days.  We hope to make an announcement with the exact race dates later this spring.  Contact us here if you have further questions.

Q: Can I visit a Trackside OTB location? How can I wager?
A: In support of, and with respect to the Governor’s modification to phase 3 of Illinois’ re-opening plan, select Off Track Betting facilities will have modified ways to begin wagering activities.  Updates to procedures and openings will be announced soon.
