Update from Arlington: FAQs
Q: When will racing and events begin at Arlington and when can I buy tickets?
A: Taking into consideration the continued public health crisis posed by the Coronavirus pandemic and the specific impact the virus has had on Illinois, racing at Arlington has been postponed. We currently do not have an official schedule of race dates at this time. We hope to make an announcement later this spring. As such, ticket sales for 2020 have been placed on hold. Please visit www.arlingtonpark.com and follow us on social media for updates and further information.
Q: Can I visit a Trackside OTB location? How can I wager?
A: Following Governor JB Pritzker’s order that all restaurants and bars in IL be closed, all of Arlington’s Trackside Off-Track Wagering facilities are closed. We will evaluate our options to reopen when we understated the timing in which the Governor will lift those restrictions. We encourage all those wanting to wager, to visit and create an account on www.twinspires.com.
Q: I purchased tickets for Derby Day May 2nd, what happens now?
A: Tickets purchased for Derby Day May 2nd are valid for Derby Day 2020 rescheduled for September 5th. If you purchased tickets for the Kentucky Derby Day, May 2nd, and require a refund please click here.
Q: I purchased tickets for Mother’s Day, now what?
A: Those with tickets pre-purchased for Mother’s Day will receive full refund automatically within 10-15 business days, no further action is required.
